Condo buyers, in particular, have had more room to negotiate, with only one out of 123 qualifying neighbourhoods seeing overbidding\u201498% remained underbid. Single-family homes still saw more competition, especially in established Old Toronto areas like the east end, where multiple offers were common and 11% of neighbourhoods were overbid. However, new listings in the GTA have started to slow, largely due to softer condo activity, which could tighten supply and affect prices in the coming months. For now, though, buyers can take advantage of extra negotiating time\u2014especially on condos\u2014but with fewer homes coming to market, we could see competition pick up again soon.
