We're seeing a real split in the GTA new home market right now. Single-family home sales jumped 50% above the usual pace to 781 units, thanks in part to a bigger HST rebate. Meanwhile, condo sales took a sharp turn downward—dropping 80% below average to just 237 units. Prices reflect this shift, too: single-family homes saw an 8.5% price dip to $1.36M, while condos edged up 2.5% to $1.05M. Inventory stands at 18,546 units across the GTA.
